NOVEMBER

Mellie (1.02, 1.03, 1.05, 1.06, 1.09, 1.10, 1.11, 2.11 & 2.12)

Mellie is November's long-term engagement. Mellie's main purpose is to serve as a spy on Paul for the Dollhouse unbeknown to her. Mellie starts off as Paul's neighbor who has an obvious crush on him. Paul eventually starts liking her and even tells her about the Dollhouse case many times. Mellie shows obvious jealously whenever the topic of "Caroline" comes up. In "Man on the Street", they share a kiss which leads to sex. When Paul is secretly conversing with an "inside man" within the Dollhouse, using Echo, he realizes Mellie might be in danger. November is a sleeper active, and can be activated as an assassin at any time while being Mellie. Unbeknown to Paul, this is what happened seconds before he burst open into his house to discover the potential-killer dead and Mellie, upset. Later, the "inside man" shocks Paul by communicating through Mellie, revealing to him that Mellie is, in fact, an active. Even though Paul knows this, he still continues to have a sexual relationship with her. In "Briar Rose", Paul breaks up with Mellie.

Bounty Hunter (1.12)

November and Sierra were imprinted as bounty hunters to track down Echo and Alpha.

WHISKEY
Dr. Claire Saunders (1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.05, 1.06, 1.08, 1.09, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13 & 2.01)

Whiskey serves as the Dollhouse physician and takes care of the physical well-being of the dolls as Dr. Claire Saunders. Back when Alpha was still an active, he attacked Whiskey giving her many cuts on her face and scarring it forever. Later, Alpha kills the Doctor of the Dollhouse and he is replaced by Whiskey who is imprinted for a long-term engagement as the new physician since she will not be hired anymore for outside jobs because of her scars. Claire has been known to think the Dollhouse is immoral and doesn't agree with what it's doing, very similar to Boyd. Claire is also very frightened of Alpha because of what he did to her. When Alpha attacks in "Briar Rose", he torments her and she is traumatized afterward. After Alpha and Echo escape, she is seen stitching Victor's very similar scars on his face that Alpha gave him. When Victor asks when he 'can be his best again', Claire snaps at him and tells him that he's ugly now and he will never be his best anymore. She is very troubled by what he asked because she is enduring the same problem. At the end of "Omega", Claire discovers she is an active.

Crystal (1.12)

Whiskey and Alpha are seen imprinted as cross-country thieves, Crystal and Bobby, in a flashback of three years ago. They were hired by a client named Lars to live out his fantasy of a nationwide crime spree. When Bobby notices they are being followed by black vans (the handlers), he and Crystal torture Lars into telling them who is following them. Lars reveals that they're both 'not real' shortly before the Handlers arrive and retrieve both actives.
